In This Section . . .

The Environmental Health Section of the Phelps/Maries County Health Department provides a wide range of services for the citizens of our two counties. Many of these services are performed pursuant to contracts entered into with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services. The department's inspectors, or Environmental Public Health Specialists, are county not state employees.

Major roadways bring many tourists, vacationers and business people into the area. The services provided by the Environmental Health Section benefit not only our citizens, but countless others as well.
