Flu Vaccine Update

The Phelps/Maries County Health Department currently has several hundred doses of flu vaccine on hand, and it is available to anyone wishing to receive a flu shot.

Flu shots are given on a walk-in basis at the health department, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The fee for the shot is $20, or "Medicare (Part B)" or "Medicaid" will cover the cost. Participants in these programs must present their cards in order to be vaccinated.
