Sports Physicals The Phelps/Maries County Health Department offers sports physicals for school-aged children and college students wishing to participate in organized athletics. The physicals are performed by a Licensed Nurse Practitioner, and are scheduled by appointment only. The fee for the physical is thirty dollars ($30). Medicaid can be billed for this service for children participating in the Medicaid program.
