About Us
We've been providing public health services to your family and all residents of Phelps and Maries Counties since 1986. The work we do impacts every person in our community every day. We focus on population health, not individual care like a doctor or hospital provides.
Our goal is to build an environment in which everyone can live their healthiest life. That means assuring clean air and water, safe healthy food, no disease spread, opportunities to exercise, and access to preventive and responsive medical care. We know we can't do this alone. We depend on many local, regional, and state partners to help us assure a healthy community for everyone.
COVID Response
We're providing COVID vaccinations on a walk-in basis at our office in Rolla. We also continue to follow up on positive COVID tests. Our staff will call to ask about your test results and who you may have been in close contact with. Our goal is to get ahead of the disease by encouraging people who have been exposed to get tested, wear a mask, and keep a distance from other people until they know for sure they do not have COVID. This important job takes all of us working together to stop the spread of COVID.
